| During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as
planned.
Chandra passed through the last two eclipse of the 2009 summer season on Jun 25 and 28 with nominal power and thermal performance. A real-time procedure was conducted on Jun 27 to set the eclipse flag to "short" in preparation for the Jun 25 eclipse. Real time procedures were executed on Jun 29 to set the eclipse flag back to "medium" and to disable SCS 29 as post-eclipse season actions. A real-time procedure was executed on Jul 1 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer. A Chandra press release was issued on Jun 26 describing combined observations from ESO's Very Large Telescope and Chandra that have help shed light on the how cosmic rays are accelerated in supernova remnants.
