Chandra Sky with Google Earth
Along with the Hubble Space Telescope and Spitzer Space Telescope, the Chandra X-ray Observatory has performed remarkably as one of NASA's "Great Observatories." Scientists using Chandra have made many discoveries about the cosmos, expanding our knowledge of everything from white dwarfs to black holes and beyond. The images in this tour are just a sample of the wealth of science that has been produced by Chandra, shown with optical and other multiwavelength data to place it in context of Sky in Google Earth. Check back here soon for additional tour features and downloads as we develop for this exciting new platform.
