Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 14 April 2006 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Real-time procedures were completed on April 13 and 14 to dump the contents of checksummed memory in the on-board computer as part of the flight software recompilation project. The dumps were not successfully captured in real-time due to dropped frames within the ground segment, and a decision whether to re-dump will be made following an assessment of the solid state recorder data.

The schedule of targets for next week is shown below and includes an observation of 1E 1048.1-597 coordinated with HST.
