During the last week Chandra's observing schedule was impacted by an anomaly where the High Resolution Camera (HRC-S) high voltage power supply was unexpectedly disabled at the start of an HRC-S observation. A real time procedure was run on Oct 24 to safe the HRC instrument and to prevent two subsequent HRC observations in the weekly loads from running. The cause of the HRC anomaly is under investigation. All HRC science observations are temporarily suspended. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below. |
