Friday 14 February 2003 8.30am EST
| During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.
Chandra passed through the seventh and eighth eclipses of the Spring 2003 season on 8 and 11 of Feb with nominal power and thermal performance. Real-time procedures were run following each eclipse to disable the Momentum Unload subfunction in the flight software to ensure momentum dumps remain under manual control. A procedure to clear a glitch counter that incremented during eclipse exit was also run on 11 Feb. A real-time procedure was completed on Feb 12 to update the on-board ephemeris. The observing schedule for next week is shown below and includes a series of Calibration observations of AR Lac with the HRC. |
