Friday 19 October 2012 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A real-time procedure was executed on Oct 19 to perform a diagnostic dump of the Control Processing Electronics (CPE).

Of note this week was the release on Oct 15 of CALDB 4.5.3. This update includes fixes to the ACIS blank-sky background files released in CALDB version 4.5.2.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of SN 2009ip, which was accepted as a Targets of Opportunity on Oct 9, an observation of Swift J174805.3-244637, which is a follow-up to a Target of Opportunity accepted on Sep 4, and observations of Sgr A* coordinated with NuSTAR, Keck, VLT, SMA, CSO, CARMA, ALMA, EHT, HESS, and ATCA.
