During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A Chandra image release was issued on Apr 23 with images of the galaxies M101, M81, Centaurus A, and M51 from a new collaboration that combines data from amateur astronomers with data from NASA mission archives. For details see: http://chandra.si.edu/photo/2014/proam/

Of note this week was the Chandra Quarterly Review conducted on Apr 23 in Cambridge.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of Sgr A* coordinated with the VLA.
