| During the last week the observing schedule was interrupted following
a high radiation event at 9:24am EDT on May 14 that stopped the daily
load and activated the science instrument safing sequence (SCS 107).
All actions were nominal and radiation levels dropped sufficiently to
for the loads to be restarted at 4.30pm on May 15. The observations
of GX 339-4 and the high redshift blazar TOO were impacted (total
96.3Ks).
The schedule was replanned once more to include an observation of XRF050509C that was accepted as a fast turn around TOO on May 16. The replan also allowed the inclusion the high redshift blazar TOO impacted by the solar event. Observations of IGR J16207-5129, RXJ1856.5-3754, Westerlund1, MACS1720.3+3536 were impacted by the replan and will be rescheduled in a later load. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes two observations of M81 coordinated with ground observatories. |
